How can I quickly copy group addresses?

Oläst inläggav mjaanes » 16 apr 2017, 14:38

Is there a quick way to copy 5 group addresses to 5 communication objects so that they get connected one-to-one respectively?

Example: Very often, a device (e.g. a dimer actuator or a Dali gateway) will offer five communication objects (typically switch, dim, value, status, status value) and typically, you will have created five consecutive group addresses that correspond to the communication objects (e.g. 1/1/0=switch, 1/1/1=dim, 1/1/3=value, etc).

What would be convenient would be to “drag” all five group addresses over the switch’ communication objects so that each of the switch communication object are linked to each of the switch group address, i.e. the dim communication object is linked to the dim group address, etc).
Do you know of a quick way top do this?

Thanks in advance

The fastes way I know of is by assigning a keyboard shortcut to the add assignment-function. It will automaticly choose the next group adress with datatype compatible with the group object in question and thus you dont need to use the mouse
